Dr Nicola Millard

Heads up Customer Insight & Futures in BT's Innovation Team.

Dr Nicola Millard is Head of Customer Insight & Futures, BT where she combines psychology with futurology to anticipate what might lie ahead for both customers and organisations. She does research, writes blogs and white papers, and facilitates innovation workshops with many of BT's multinational clients. 
Nicola has been involved with a number of ‘firsts’ at BT; the application of AI into call centres, initial experiments with home working, and developing new ways to measure customer experience.
Nicola has a PhD in motivational technologies in contact centres and is also a published author and award-winning presenter. She has presented two TED talks and is an experienced keynote speaker, radio and tv commentator.  


Matt Offord


Matt Offord, former naval officer, is the director and founder of Coscoroba Consulting, a data driven management consultancy. 

Matt developed the SWAN leadership model, which he has applied in both public and private sector companies, in industries as diverse as health to marine technology, to help them thrive in complex situations. 

He has an MBA and a PhD in leadership, and is a former senior member of St Antony’s College, Oxford. He is also an Honorary Research Fellow at Durham University Anthropology Department.

Steve Wells is a global futurist and COO of Fast Future Publishing. His focus is the future of life, business and society, highlighting the new thinking and business models being enabled by exponential technologies. He explores the leadership capabilities required to compete in the future, to help clients make informed choices on the potential impact of emerging technologies.  
Steve is co-editor and contributing author on a series of books exploring the emerging future and is currently working on two forthcoming books: 50:50 – Scenarios for the Next 50 Years and Unleashing Human Potential and The Future of AI in Business. 
He is an international keynote speaker and a contributor to tv, radio and podcasts.
