Why we need you to support our research.
At the Institute, we undertake research to advance the science of Leadership and Management. By participating in our research surveys, you provide valuable insights and data that enable us to build new knowledge and understanding, publish research reports to support people in Leadership, develop additional resources for Leaders and Managers and campaign for best professional practice. 


Completing our surveys.
Our surveys ask you to answer a set of closed questions about an important leadership topic, we often also provide an additional option for you to contribute further perspectives about the subject discussed. We then ask you to provide demographic data to support our analysis, participants can opt out of these by marking ‘prefer not to say’. 


Data processing.
All data is anonymised during the analysis process and in subsequent reports and publications. Data is held securely on The Institute's CRM system and within our internal file systems, in compliance with GDPR. Data is only accessed by relevant staff involved in processing and analysing research data. We ask participants if they are willing for our staff to contact them for quotes in relation to the research or in follow up on the research and only contact research participants when consent is granted. 


Data from this research will be retained in its raw format for 3 years, then destroyed. 

The latest survey will close at 10am on Monday 31st May 2021.
