You're passionate about developing your leadership capability but don't meet the professional membership criteria. You want to be part of a network of like-minded people and get to work on your leadership and management skills all in one place.

Should you want to get professional recognition, you can upgrade to an Associate, by completing two dimensions of MyLeadership.

Fees: £150 per annum (£12.50 per month)

 
Associate

Aimed at new or aspiring managers who are at the start of their leadership journey 

To qualify you'll need to be an enthusiastic manager who wants to further your skills and become a confident, dynamic leader, plus EITHER a minimum of level 3 qualification (definition of levelsOR an Institute Approved programme OR a mapped military rank OR have been Managing teams/resources to positively deliver results for up to 1 year.

Member

Aimed at experienced managers who want to boost their leadership potential

To qualify you'll need to be an experienced professional, who wants to fine-tune your skills and learn more from other great leaders, plus you'll need either a minimum of a level 5 qualification (definition of levels) OR have completed an Institute Approved programme OR a mapped military rank OR have been managing teams/resources at middle management level for a minimum of 1 year.

Fellow

Aimed at highly experienced managers who are looking to share their knowledge to support the community

To qualify you'll need to be a senior leader operating at a strategic level who wants to help others become successful leaders, plus EITHER a minimum of level 7 qualification (definition of levelsOR an Institute Approved programme OR a mapped military rank OR have been managing teams/resources at the senior/strategic level for a minimum of 3 years (you will need to provide a sponsor who can validate your experience)

We encourage you to get involved on The Hub (our community forum) and be part of our event programme where you can share, challenge and support other members.

We also encourage you to advocate our vision – to inspire great leadership, everywhere.
